Jesus sent His Angel (Messenger) to Apostle John to reveal (make known) to him the fate of this fallen world of gods and the characteristics of the new world which will replace our world in due time.
Has failed, the experiment with the model of a world of free choice which Lucifer championed instead of the model of God the Father where everyone is made for a specific role according to the role that He has decreed (Revelation 4:8). The experiment is not with a model of a world populated by Angels because part of that race had already failed. Rather, it is a model of a race with the ‘DNA’ of God the Father Himself, that is, a race higher than the race of the Angels (Genesis 1:27, John 10:34). Man was made at the image of God not of Angels, if we can understand the relation. The Angels of Heaven are at the service of men (Revelation 19:10)! Mankind is so important that it takes his very God Creator, Jesus, the only Son (not an Angel unless the Father is also an Angel) given by God the Father, to die to redeem, among a whole world of billions and billions of people, even the few of us (John 3:16) who get to realize that we are gods in the rank of God the Father and Jesus. The Scriptures call men gods, a kingdom of priests sitting on the throne of Jesus; and Jesus confirms it again (John 10:34, Psalms 82:6-7).
The model of Lucifer is so flawed that Jesus says that even those of us who elect to believe in Him could have been lost (Mark 13:32). The model of Lucifer cannot be allowed to subsist forever and must end one day soon because Heaven has given enough leeway for men to shape up in the model of Lucifer, but it has been gone from worse to worst, with the carrot or with the stick (2 Peter 3:9, Revelation 9:20-21), 16:9-11). At the end of the period of grace, Jesus will become the Avenger (2 Timothy 4:1, 1 Thessalonians 4:6).
According to Apocalypse 21:1, this earth will not be renovated or cleansed as many false teachers make others believe in their erroneous teachings. This earth will be burned and replaced by a totally brand-new earth (2 Peter 3:13).Who will survive the mark of the beast to escape the upcoming destruction by fire of all evil for the new world to come? The holy ones, those who keep ALL the commandments of Jesus (God) and His Faith or His Belief (John 3:16, 14:15, Revelation 9:5, 14:12, Galatians 2:16, James 2:10). Read the supporting verses.
Revelation 1:1-3 ASV
(1) The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show unto his servants, even the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John;
(2) who bare witness of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, even of all things that he saw.
(3) Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Revelation 14:12 ABP
Here [the endurance of the holy ones is]. Here are the ones keeping the commandments of God, and the belief, of the one of Jesus [Read Galatians 2:16].
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Isaiah 65:17 ASV
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith Jehovah, so shall your seed and your name remain. Isaiah 66:22 ASV
But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2 Peter 3:13 ASV
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more. Revelation 21:1 ASV
In the first chapter, Jesus, in His glory, introduces Himself as 'Alpha and Omega', 'the First and the Last', which is a title identified with YHWH God. In case we would miss the scope of the title which testifies who He is, He identifies Himself as the One who was dead, was risen, and who holds the keys of death and of Hades, which means that is Jesus who unambiguously says that He is YHWH God who certifies the message of His Angel (Messenger).
Revelation 1:17-18 ASV
(17) And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last,
(18) and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
Chapter 2 and 3 contain the message to the 7 churches, a prophecy to be read and kept.
Revelation 1:3 ASV
(3) Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written therein: for the time is at hand.
In chapters 4 to 11, a door is open for Apostle John to visualize and report the tragedies or calamities that will befall men and earth in interrupted intervals until the last. The described torments, plagues, disasters, and slaughtering of men give the word Apocalypse his doomed connotation.
Satan and his working efforts of subversion of the majority of our souls and his protagonists are featured in chapters 12, 13.
Chapter 14 speaks of the 144,000 and the message of the 3 Angels (Messengers).
The message of the 3 Messengers is reminding men to worship [to kiss, adore. To worship, do obeisance, show respect, fall or prostrate before (Complete word Study dictionary)] God and not the beast and his protagonists which is achieved by keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, according to chapter 14:12.
Revelation 14:6-13 ASV
(6) And I saw another angel flying in mid heaven, having eternal good tidings to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earth, and unto every nation and tribe and tongue and people;
(7) and he saith with a great voice, Fear God, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters.
(8) And another, a second angel, followed, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that hath made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
(9) And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, If any man worshippeth the beast and his image, and receiveth a mark on his forehead, or upon his hand,
(10) he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
(11) and the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receiveth the mark of his name.
(12) Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
(13) And I heard a voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.
Pay attention to verse 13. To overcome the beast is to die rather than to subscribe to his mark for survival.
In chapter 14, begins the harvest of the earth through chapter 16 with plagues and bowls of God's wrath.
Chapter 17 features the union of the beast with the great prostitute who sits on him and whom the beast carries. Even though the beast carries Babylon and Babylon sits on the beast, it is his 10 allied kings whose hatred will take her down because this is the way that God wills it (Revelation 17:16-17).
Revelation 17:16-17 ASV
(16) And the ten horns which thou sawest, and the beast, these shall hate the harlot, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and shall burn her utterly with fire.
(17) For God did put in their hearts to do his mind, and to come to one mind, and to give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.
Chapter 18 features the fall of the woman of the beast, Babylon, the great prostitute.
In chapter 19, we read that Jesus (YHWH EL-SHADDAY per Revelation 1:8] begins to reign (19:6). It is also spoken of the marriage supper of the Lamb with the saints and the forbiddance of Angel worship. Let those who make Jesus a special Angel take note. Only God can be worshipped not an Angel. Angel Satan wants Jesus to worship him (Matthew 4:10) and his compelling worship in the prophecy of the book of Revelation leads to the lake of fire.
We also read in chapter 19, the ultimate battle between military men of the world with the horse Rider who is definitely Jesus, the Logos of John 1. That portion of Chapter 19:11-21 seems to relate to the destruction of all evil into the lake of fire after the second death described in Chapter 20 following the 1,000 years respite.
Chapter 21 speaks of the new heavens and new earth to replace this current earth that vanished, and the New Jerusalem coming down from above. If it is written that this earth will be replaced, how can there be others who teach and believe that this earth will go nowhere but will be renewed? 2 Timothy 4:3.
The closing chapter 22 speaks of the resurgence of the tree of life which was in Eden.
Revelation 22:1-5 ASV (1) And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, (2) in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (3) And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him; (4) and they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads. (5) And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
The rest of chapter certifies the immutable prophecy of the book and reasserts that the coming of Jesus is for sure.
The greatest take away (for me) in the book of Apocalypse is the prophecy that none of the plagues will suffice to move any man bent to disobedience to an inch of repentance. Instead, they will keep blaspheming the name of God.
Revelation 9:20-21 ASV
(20) And the rest of mankind, who were not killed with these plagues, repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood; which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk: (21) and they repented not of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
Revelation 16:8-11 ASV
8 And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God who hath the power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory.
10 And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.
